DGF-MIRAGE: fMRI Task Experiment e-Prime files and Stimuli – Release 1.0 (June 2026)

The e-Prime fMRI Task Experiment, including experimental stimuli (pictures and video), E-Prime task and configuration files, scripts, documentation, and associated materials (collectively, the “Materials”), has been developed by Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi ETS (the “Institution”).

The stimuli (pictures and videos) are original works produced entirely by personnel of the Institution. The E-Prime files are experiment configuration files defining the structure, timing, and delivery of stimuli within the E-Prime® software environment.

The Materials are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution – Non-Commercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).


You are free to use, copy, redistribute, adapt, and modify the Materials for any purpose, subject to the following conditions: appropriate credit must be given to the Institution and the associated publication(s); a link to the license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/) must be provided; and any modifications made to the Materials must be clearly indicated.


You may not use the Materials, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes, including but not limited to sale, licensing, incorporation into commercial products or services, without prior written permission from the Institution.


Modified versions of the Materials must be distributed under the same CC BY-NC 4.0 license or a compatible license, or a compatible license, and must not be presented as the original release.


Users of the Materials are requested to cite the following publication(s) in any resulting publication, presentation, thesis, preprint, or other scholarly work:

MRI data associated with this experiment will be separately deposited on OpenNeuro (https://openneuro.org) where it is made available under the terms imposed by that platform (CC0 or CC BY). The Materials covered by this license are not distributed via OpenNeuro and are governed exclusively by this CC BY-NC 4.0 licence. Users who access MRI data from OpenNeuro must refer to this document for the terms applicable to the behavioural and experimental materials.


The Materials are provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.


The Institution shall not be liable for any claim, damage, loss, or other liability arising from the use of the Materials or from any results obtained through their use.

Use of the Materials does not imply endorsement by the Institution of any resulting research, publication, product, or service.


Where feasible, users should provide a link to the original repository or website from which the Materials were obtained, so that other may access the canonical release.


The Materials include files created for use with E-Prime® software. E-Prime® is a product of Psychology Software Tools, Inc. and is not distributed as part of these Materials. Users are responsible for obtaining any software licenses prior to running or modifying the Materials. The institution provides no support for operating the Materials without a valid E-Prime® license, and does not endorse any method of circumventing this requirement.
